Taught First Time Home Buyers Workshop, entitled "How to Shop for a Home", at the Fort Dodge Housing Agency. Approximately 8 to 10 participants, with income levels ranging from extremely low-medium, were from Webster County, Humboldt County, Hamilton County & Kossuth County. I explained the process a pros[ective buyer would need to go through in order to purchase a home.

Member of the Steering Committee for Frontier Days and Co-Chairperson on the Frontier Days Parade Committee 1992 to 2011.

Member of New Covenant Christian Church (NCCC) since 1991; teacher and helper, Children’s Church and Vacation Bible School, Greeter, New Beginnings, Welcome Center, Life with Jesus, Meals Ministry, Life Group Coordinator.

Volunteer thank you’s from MDA, NCCC, Community Christian School (Partners in Education…judging speech meets, both local and regional; led small cell prayer groups for National Day of Prayer; helped with Grandparents Day; taught class on Ireland; & shared about missionary trip to Nicaragua); KJYL Christian Radio Station (helped with Share-A-Thon’s, mailings & Ambassadors Group); and coordinated parade and reviewing stand for the Homecoming Parage & Ceremony (July 26, 2003) for local Army National Guard soldiers who spent 10 months on a Homeland Security Mission. Completed Financial Peace University class by Dave Ramsey in the fall of 2011.

My husband Mike and I were selected to be Grand Marshals for the 2012 Frontier Days Parade & 2012 Citizens of the Year.
